Eternal Shadows: The Unseen Chapter
Inspired by Stephenie Meyer's novel: Breaking Dawn
The quiet town of Forks, long used to strange happenings, had seen a dramatic decrease in abnormal occurrences. But today, a strange disturbance was brewing. The Cullens, Forks' obscure and captivating residents, were caught off guard by an unfamiliar scent. Alice, with her ability to see the future, was the first to realize that a new vampire was approaching the town.
Belonging to neither their family nor the antagonistic Volturi, the newcomer posed a concerning mystery. Edward and Bella, along with their daughter Renesmee, monitored the situation warily. Edward’s ability to read minds was useless in identifying the stranger, as he could not penetrate their thoughts. The town itself was oblivious; the vampire world and all of its secrets were tucked safely out of view.
Gradually, the newcomer moved closer. The air was tense as the Cullens gathered to plan for the unknown. As they debated, Alice had a vision. The stranger was a female vampire, young and alone. Previously a human who suffered at the hands of a malevolent vampire, she was transformed to save her life, but was left to learn the vampire ways on her own.
Alice saw the young vampire, Isabel, struggling to keep her thirst for human blood under control. Despite her young age and traumatic transformation, Alice saw a strong will and kindness in her. Compassion sparked among the Cullens. They felt compelled to help, remembering how Bella had relied on their guidance when she first transitioned.
Edward was the first to approach Isabel. His calm and gentle demeanor were meant to show her they were not a threat. Bella and Renesmee stayed back, but they watched with hopes that they could help this young vampire find her way. As Edward and Isabel emerged from the woods, the Cullens held their breaths. Will they welcome a new member or have to confront a new enemy?
There were many questions but one thing was certain - the tale of the Cullens was far from over, and the sleepy town of Forks was once again at the heart of a supernatural event. Whether the coming days would bring peace or storms, one could only wait and see.
