Descending the treacherous route through the Snæfellsjökull volcano in Iceland was no less fearsome; their surroundings were perpetually bathed in an eerily beautiful glow from the luminescent minerals adorning the cavern walls.

After days of grinding travel, they were greeted by the sight that had become part legend, part memory. The vast inner world bloomed around them, as magnificent as Axel remembered, displaying its ethereal beauty.
