The scent of dew-kissed earth hung heavy in the air as morning stretched its golden fingers over the Warren of Watership Down. The vibrant greens of the surrounding countryside sparkled in the dawning light, a peaceful setting disturbed only by the ripples of retreating nocturnal creatures.
